The Nathan Childers Quintet - Contemporary Days

Contemporary Days is my debut CD. This recording showcases what I like to call my electric/contemporary style of writing. I have taken influences from jazz, world music, pop, and fusion. The title track, Contemporary Days features the Japanese scale. This piece is dedicated to my former teacher Yusef Lateef who has continued to inspire me over the years. All of the selections reflect past experiences and emotions that have affected me greatly as an artist.
